Itsy, Bitsy...

Everything was going along just fine, I'm sitting at the computer, seeing what my LJ friends were up to, when I notice something is crawling up the wall behind the computer. Really fast. Dammit! I hate spiders! This is a time I really wish I still had a husband. "Honey? Would you go in the other room and KILL IT!!! KILL THE SPIDER!! HURRY! IT'S AS BIG AS A MOUSE AND HAS 18 LEGS!!! AAAK!! KILL IT!! GO ON!!" Husband would dutifully comply.
But I must be strong and independent now. I must kill it myself.
I grab a wad of kleenex and I MISS IT! It drops to the floor behind the computer desk and disappears. Dammit! Now I can't sit here without thinking tht there's a spider on the floor, waiting for a chance to crawl up my leg and kill me. God, I hate spiders...
