Stuff that happened...

Three things happened today:
1) I got the green light to go ahead and throw a LiveJournal party at Wiscon!!! Who wants to help me?!
2) I went to a salon and got a haircut for the first time since 1999.
3) We had rain, then freezing rain, then that turned into snow, all within the space of 20 minutes. Thunder and lightning made it even more exciting as I drove home. April in Wisconsin....
I'm going to bed now...

Hey, are us upstart Weblog bastards invited too? I'd like to help and see if we can get the concourse to turn on the ethernet in that room so people can bring their laptops and geek out.

The party will be in the bakesale room, remember, there won't really be anyplace to set up computers. Besides, I want this to be a chance for LJ folks to meet face-to-face and TALK to each other! Did you know there are a bunch of people who list Wiscon as an interest, who come to Wiscon, but don't have any friends in common with me, or anyone I know? I want to MEET these people!! Welcome them to Wiscon. Add some new folks to my friends list. If other people really, really want to have a computer plugged into LJ at the party, I won't stop you. But I'd really rather you didn't.
