Hangin with my home girls! They're liking me just fine, one of them fell sound asleep in my lap for quite a while this afternoon. I'm going to miss them! I don't think I could live with a cat full-time anymore, though. I've always been mildly allergic to them, that allergy seemed to suppress itself during the years I lived with Ariel. Now it's coming back.
Cable TV decadence for the afternoon:
*House Hunters. I don't know why I've always loved that show, I can't get enough of it, even though I never have and never will own a home. Fun to dream, though.
*Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. Tony's looking pretty well fed these days, his skeletal bad-boy years are long over.
*VH1's Top 100 Songs of the 80's. Ah, memories..
*Jon & Kate +8. Schadenfreude (sp?) at it's best!

lara7 called, saying they were coming back a day early, and were just a few hours from home. I figured they might do that, I saw a news report that the hippie dirt rave had a lot of weather problems this year. I caught her up on the activities of my new feline friends, and I'll drop the keys by at their convenience tomorrow.
Also tomorrow, I must hit the ground running with the job and apartment search. Many scary phone calls await..
