Softest Cat In Fandom Dies
Aug. 2nd, 2008 11:17 pmGot a call this afternoon from P., who took Ariel in and became her new mom when I moved to Seattle in 2005. Kidney issues and old age caught up with her, and P. had her put to sleep today. She had just turned 19. That's a good long life for a cat, and Ariel was always safe and loved in the many, many places she called home with Whump, myself, and P.
I'm sad that I didn't get a chance to see her during Wiscon, and now I won't get to see her when I'm in Madison the week after next.

My favorite picture of her. Whump and I were getting ready to move to California. She loved boxes.
