Where have I been?
Aug. 11th, 2003 11:35 pmHere, at home, trying to escape the clutches of the couch, reading LJ many times a day, but not saying much. I'm having one of those "nobody comments, so why bother writing" phases. I'm sure it'll pass, but I just have to accept the fact that I'm not one of those people who can write "I dropped my pen" and get 53 comments.
I went to the store after work, and bought some chicken breasts. I don't know what I'm going to do with them, but I'm in the mood to throw something together for dinner Tuesday night. We'll see if anything tasty comes of it.
Honest question for all you cooking types out there: do you keep basalmic vinegar in the fridge after you open it? It doesn't say anything on the bottle that I bought. I've grown quite fond of steamed asparagus tossed with a little vinegar. Mmmm...
This weekend is the Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival.
*Insert Homer Simpson drooling noises here*
I hate summer. Summer is hot, bright, sticky, smelly and lonely. Bad things tend to happen to me in the summer. Or nothing happens at all. I look forward to the end of it. We haven't had any decent storms either, dammitt. I'm far too cranky to be writing now...
