After a burger and fries at Kidd Valley, we went to a place called Golden Gardens Park. Where the seagulls are huge, and the dogs are supposedly not allowed, but we saw lots of them anyway. There was a rainbow, but it didn't rain on us. It was windy, and people were flying kites. A Black Lab in a bandanna splashed out trying to get at the ducks floating just beyond reach. "Stanley!" his mom yelled, kinda worried. He was far enough out to get caught up in the current, but Stanley wasn't coming back until all the ducks had flown away. We cheered him on as he finally headed towards shore. "Here Stanley! Yay Stanley! C'mon, Stanley!!" We each had our cameras with us and took lots of pictures. Well, [livejournal.com profile] holyoutlaw did, my batteries died after only a handful of shots. Oh well...
On the way back to the car, we passed a young couple on a park bench eating cupcakes. Really yummy-looking cupcakes from a place called Cupcake Royale. [livejournal.com profile] holyoutlaw suggested a stop at Cupcake Royale, which by some crazy coincidence, just so happened to be a place we'd pass on the way home! So we stopped, and the cupcakes, they were delish...

OK, now my friends page is doing something else weird, but this time I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to do with anything anyone posted. I go to one of my reading filters, click on something, and the newest postings are there. I go to read somebody's comments. Then when I go back, everything is gone. A whole day's worth of new postings are gone, until I hit refresh. This is weird and annoying, and I have no idea what's causing it. I've never had it happen before, ever.

OK, did that even make sense? Anybody...?
