What I did today...

I went bowling! Haven't done that in years, and, as expected- I sucked! (I only scored 90, with bumpers!) But it was fun, got to spend time with bibliofile, and some friends I don't get to see very often. It was a kid's birthday party, and I think I did fairly well, considering that I'm not very comfortable around children, especially large groups of them! But they were great, one little girl was facinated by my fabulous pink bowling ball, and kept borrowing it. What a hoot!

Went bowling with a group for the first time in years about six months ago. I enjoyed it too and if I had friends who bowled regularly I'd probably join them. It's something that you do need friends you can sit and chat with though.

I thought L liked your ball because it had your name on it? She did ask me why some balls had people's names on them. (Yes, she was very cute, and friendly, too.)
