Strange..

I click a link on one person's journal to someone else's journal, and when I come back to the original page, my LJ has reverted into an older-looking, large print version. I closed out everything and rebooted, but that didn't fix it. I'm confused.

Also, up until a few weeks ago, I was able to delete things by going to the start of what I wanted to delete, hitting the delete key, and the words would be sucked away into the cursor. Then one day, without me doing anything strange or different, delete doesn't work that way anymore. Now I have to go to the end of what I want to get rid of, and hit backspace, going back across the words I don't want. I don't like it, and I'd rather it be the old way.

Can anyone tell me how to fix either of these things?

I'm sure there are actual technical terms for what I'm talking about, but as you know Bob, I'm kind of a Luddite.
