In Madison

The train trip was grueling, but pleasant. The Michael Palin book sustained me. I'm almost finished, so I don't know what I'll do for the trip back. The food was great, and I had pleasant conversations with strangers in the dining car.

Madison is hot, very hot. Ugh.. But I saw fireflies last night!

There are a lot of people I want to see, but I'm going to settle in over the weekend, and see what kind of help I can be around here. Dad is doing better every day, but not up to speed yet. I'll be calling, e-mailing, Facebooking etc, looking to fill my dancecard soon.
