Guess Who I Forgot?
May. 4th, 2009 11:55 pmI can't believe I forgot the rats in my pet photo extravaganza!

Luke and I have been out and about in the last few days. Friday, instead of going to the gym, we went to Discovery Park. I hadn't been there before. It was a beautiful day, we were there for hours, and hiked about five miles, very little of it flat! Down by the water, the tide was low. We walked along the beach, then headed back into the woods towards the car. I think the walking we did was equivalent to a session at the gym.
Today, we went to Schmitz Preserve Park. I hadn't been there before either. It was raining, but not hard, and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. We climbed around on some steep and muddy paths, and got very dirty! A stream runs through the park, and we criss-crossed it many times, climbing over wet logs. There's something about moving water, a brook, a stream, a small waterfall, that just does it for me. I could sit there in the mud next to a stream and listen to the sounds, and stare into the flowing water for hours.
I'll have to dump the pictures and post them another time.
