* Call and let the other temp service I signed up with know that I'm available again.
* Sew a couple things that need minor repairs.
* Try to get up before noon just once this week.
* Attempt further contact with a certain Wiscon person regarding LJ party. (Said person didn't respond to two previous e-mails. Problem on my end? Hers? Probably no problem at all, but must find out soon..)
* Stop eating so much crap all the time.
* Start excercising again.
* Go to bed earlier so poor Luke can get a decent night's sleep for once.
* Call my folks and see how they made out in the big snowstorm.
* Laundry. Trash out. Dishes. Vacuum.
* Closet purge.
* Find another "copy/paste" meme to do so I don't forget how.
There's plenty more, but I can't think of any others at the moment.
On Wednesday, my heart was back in Madison as I read about the snowstorm in various people's LJ's, on
madisonwi, and on Madison's local TV news sites. It made me miss the snow (though not the driving in it, of course), and made me miss my hometown a great deal.
In exciting dinner news, I made a curry the other night. When we eat at Thai restaurants, I'll often have a yellow curry, and I wondered how easy it would be to make at home. Well, the recipes I found didn't look that simple, but, as we discovered on our trip to Central Market last weekend, mixes are pretty easy to come by! I stir-fried chicken pieces with red pepper, ginger, onion, garlic, and pencil-thin asparagus tips. Added a can of coconut milk, and several spoonfuls of the curry paste. I also added potatoes that I'd cut up and thrown in the vegetable steamer. It tasted great and looked like it could've come from any Thai place in the neighborhood!
