So, five years ago,
bibliofile came over to my apartment and helped me get set up on LJ. I knew nothing. I picked a journal style pretty much at random. Some people change journal styles like clothes, but not me. I picked one that was easy to read, got used to it, and never gave it another thought till yesterday.
When I read LJ, I log in, and go to the page for my reading filters. On that page there are drop-down thingies where I can go to (among other things) my own journal, or my info page. Yesterday those two options disappeared. I have no idea why, and its annoying. I'd like those options back.
As I'm being annoyed by that, I'm also wondering if it had anything to do with the fact that I have one of the oldest, simplest, most primitive journal styles in all of LJ. Probably not, but I decided it was time for a change anyway. The number of options was overwhelming. I would like to have found an updated version of the style I had before, but I didn't see anything like it. I picked one called Shrinking Violet, it seemed as close as I could get to the layout I had before. And I like purple...
So now I'm purple. My drop-down options are still missing, but hey, I'm purple.
