Movin' On Up...
May. 9th, 2007 09:59 pm...to a deeeluxe apartment, in the sky...
I've fallen utterly, hopelesly behind on Wiscon e-mails, but the move is progressing along nicely. I'll empty a shelf or cupboard into a box, take it upstairs, unload it where it goes, and take the empty box back downstairs. Moving into an identical space has it's advantages. We've got all but one bookcase up, and all the books. Luke's dresser, the cedar chest, TV, stereo and CDs are up there as well. A new love seat and credenza were purchased, and moved directly into the new space. The new living room will be laid out differently, but I think it'll be much nicer. I'll get the kitchen and bathroom up on Friday, and we'll do the bed and computer desks Saturday. Then we clean. We've only been here since November, so it won't be bad at all. On the 19th, we head to Madison for Wiscon.
