A place for my behind...

O, the excitement! I have a new office chair! A lunch today I came home, sat down, ate my TV dinner, cruised LJ, and my office chair disintegrated underneath me. It thwarted my attempts to put it back together, so tonight, I went over to replyhazy and billzilla's house, and picked up the chair they had offered me. (Remind me to pay you on Friday!) It fit in the back seat of the car- Yay! I manhandled it up the icy steps- Yay! Now I can lean back without fear or danger- Yay!

And there was much rejoicing...


Dinner was good. I went to the grocery store and bought an already roasted chicken, and a few other things. When I got home, I put the chicken in the oven to keep warm, then I put a couple of potatoes, a bunch of asparagus, lots of garlic, and a few shallots into my little veggie steamer. When they were done, I took out the chicken, tossed the veggies in a little basalmic vinegar, and had a fine time!


I have only one box of candy cigarettes left. So sad. I shall savor them, and try to make the memory of their yummyness last till I can get some more.... mmmmm.....
