Random Guesswork Cooking works yet again. Let's see, what-all did I have in my stir fry...
Red peppers, yellow squash, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, shallots, garlic and ginger. Sliced and diced to perfection. The chicken was a problem, I'd bought a small package of thighs. Usually, I get breast pieces, but this was cheap and looked easy to cut up. Unfortunately, all the lean, smooth, easy looking bits were on top. Underneath was all the fat and slime and connective tissue. Yech. I'm not an expert at cutting up chicken, and after messing with it till I was good and grossed out, I probably threw away some good parts. Oh well. Sautee till it looked done, then start the veggies.
The sauce makings included: soy sauce, oyster sauce, worcestershire sauce, and fish sauce, randomly poured in till it looked good and smelled yummy. Pile the whole mess on top of rice. I don't know why it worked, but it worked. And it was a fine and tasty end to a pleasant, relaxing weekend. I'm going to go have some ice cream now...
