A stranger among friends..

I spent Friday night and Saturday with cannibal and renniekins. They came from the Detroit area to Madison to visit a bunch of friends, only two of whom I'd met before, but I was graciously invited to hang out with them the whole time they were here. I really appreciated that, I know that a stranger changes the vibe of an established group. I felt very welcome though, and I was thrilled to finally have a chance to meet renniekins! She's just great!!
I'm second-guessing everything I did and said. I have an overwhelming fear of people thinking I'm a dork. I found myself talking way too much, which is very dork-like. Possibly to compensate for the fact that most weekends I am alone, and don't speak to another living soul unless you count the cat! Still, it doesn't excuse it, and I do feel like I made a bad impression. Sigh...
So, C. & R.- I had a blast hanging out with you, come back soon! And by the way- am I a dork?
(because the ceiling says I'm a princess...)
