Blessed relief...

My new glasses were met with unanimous approval by Corflu attendees and co-workers alike. I don't like how eyeglasses have generally become so small, and I usually run screaming from fashion trends, but I went with small frames, and I like them. Being busy all weekend prevented me from getting them adjusted. I had a great time at Corflu, but I was physically miserable. The bits behind the ears were so tight, they had broken the skin and it REALLY hurt!! After work today I went to get them adjusted, and they feel MUCH better! I'm still having a little trouble with depth perception though...
The weekend was lovely, and I made several new LJ friends (I need to go and add everybody to my list!). I felt like I belonged, unlike the first Corflu I went to in Madison ten years ago. I learned a lot of fannish history. It's as if I've been given a boost of fannish energy that will hopefully see me through to Wiscon, and all the things I've signed on to do! LiveJournal party ideas were tossed around. So much to do... So tired now....
