Well actually, this only applies to folks coming to Wiscon. I'm looking for hotel roommates. This year, I will be getting the room across the hall from consuite. The room adjoins the bakesake room, and since I run the bakesale every year, this will be incredibly convenient. Two problems:
1) The room is a quad, and I am poor. Therefore- I must fill it with roommates.
2) The other problem is that this room is on the party floor, one quick stumble away from consuite, so it will be very, very loud!
You can see the challenge ahead of me. Wiscon is the highlight of my year, and no matter how little money I have, it's really important to me to be able to stay at the hotel. I hope that by networking early, I can fill up that room, and have an affordable Wiscon this year. Thanks for listening, and tell everyone you know who's coming to the convention. Dinner was a simple omlette, tasted great, but I have a stomach-ache now. Spent the evening feeling yucky and watching TV. The music in my head is replyhazy's fault!

I think Jane and I stayed in that room one year, and I thought we got it at a discount BECAUSE of it's location. Didn't bother us because we were such night persons then. Oh, I should make our reservations now...

...you should post this in turboapa community. Do you know how? If so, ignore following paragraph:

1. Instead of updating by clicking the Update link at upper left, click the ... link next to it.

2. Type your update as usual, but at the end of the entry, there is a dropdown box to say "post in". It will default to your journal, but you can pick turboapa off of it.

In regard to the room... well, I tell you. I need to talk to B. If he is not interested in a room for Wiscon, I might be willing to share with you! Also... would you be interested in a gig feeding Smokey and Scout while we are in San Diego? Let me know.

Actually, I WAS wondering how to post in Turbo, but I think I'll need you to explain it to me again.

I would love to not have to share the room at Wiscon with total strangers, but would you guys really want to deal with that kind of noise and late-night crazyness?

I'd be happy to look after the boys! Just say when!
I'll try to stop up and say "Hi" before your appointment tomorrow.
