Was home by 10:30....

I didn't get axe murdered! Should have stayed home, though. It was very crowded, but the ratio of women to men was 3-1. There were a lot of very attractive men around, but I just couldn't make myself talk to anyone. I'm not very comfortable in a "bar" setting. I never feel like I belong in a bar. I ran into several co-workers who didn't know there was a singles party going on, they came to see the band that was playing later. I sat with them at the bar, and we all watched the place get more and more crowded. It was so loud, you couldn't hear when they announced who won the various door prizes. I also saw my ex-boyfriend's room-mate. He is a world-class jerk, and I was embarrassed that he kept hanging around me, trying to hit on the gals I was sitting with. When the band started playing, there was no point in trying to talk to anyone, so I said my goodbyes to my co-workers and headed home. I'm eating ice cream now....
