Various updates...
Car:
The body shop can't take it in till the 15th, luckily it's perfectly drivable. In fact, the damage is hardly noticeable unless you're looking closely. However, the spot where the paint came off is already starting to rust. My insurance company and hers are battling it out. Accidents on private parking lots are almost always considered 50/50 as far as fault is concerned. So my rates will skyrocket even though I didn't cause the accident or do any damage whatsoever to her SUV.
Work:
I've gone from one musical hell to another. Instead of the Lite Rock Station of Doom, I am subjected to Z104, Madison's top 40 nightmare. The most popular songs, repeated five times before lunch. My file room shares space with supplies. Tha gal who takes care of supplies simply MUST have her radio on when she's there. Since we're in the basement, reception isn't always stellar. Imagine all Beyonce, all the time, at the edge of hearing, out of tune. Thank god the supply gal's only there three days a week.
Other than that, everyone is settling in nicely at the new office. They still haven't hired anyone for my job at the old office. The part-time gal was only planning on working full-time through February, thinking they'd have someone by now. Ha! Guess I'm not so easily replaced after all, eh, evil bosslady?
Other stuff:
I probably won't be able to afford to spend my 40th birthday in Seattle after all. Damn deductable...

bibliofile will come over Saturday, I will make food, and she will bring movies. That means I should probably vacuum, too...
